CNC Turning

CNC turning is a subtractive manufacturing technology and refers to the process of removing material from a (typically) cylindrical stock piece of material — though CNC turning can also be performed on a wide range of stock shapes such as hex or square bar.

CNC turning is a technology of computer-controlled machining that produces custom cnc parts by rotating a solid workpiece, while fixed cutting tools remove material from the workpiece and shape the final part. All the actions are performed automatically according to the CAD models uploaded to the CNC lathe.

CNC lathes are mainly used for cutting the inner and outer cylindrical surfaces of shaft parts or disk parts, the inner and outer conical surfaces of any cone angle, complex rotary inner and outer curved surfaces, cylinders, and conical threads, etc.
